We stayed 2 nights. Eric emailed to say would be out on our arrival, but advised our pitch number, directions to the site and our pitch. We arrived and found our pitch, and Eric popped by to make sure we were happy and to go over a few details of the site. Very friendly. They have 5 hard standing pitches, with bins, water and electric. Our pitch was clean and flat, so blocks were not needed. There is chemical waste area and a block which houses the shower and toilets, which is not common for CL sites. The only downside would be that the toilet is in with the shower, so if you need to use the toilet, you may well be waiting for someone to finish showering. A separate toilet would be better, and I believe Eric and Sue do have that on their to do list! This was a lovely dark skies campsite and very peaceful. I would recommend this site, and in fact did just that to a young couple who approached us at a beach asking if we knew of a quiet campsite! Value for money? I would say so. We paid £24 pn and electric is additional, which you pay for at the end of your stay, cash on the day or back transfer.
