Ease of arrival/welcome

escape from lockdown

We took the opportunity to escape lockdown as Wales opened up at the end of july. We usually go to Anglesey for our first outing of the year and choose a different area each year. We spent a week at Brambles and how lovely it was. Eric welcomed us as we arrived and offered advice for accessing the pitch. The site is a haven of peace and quiet ( a" neigh"bouring horse can be heard occassionally) the ponds were full of lilies and we had a visit from a rabbit each evening. Though the weather could have been better - to be out in the van again was just heaven. Luckily the site is only a couple of hours from home and as its open all year it looks ideal for return visits even late in the year. Well worth a visit.
