Brambles a Lovely Peaceful Retreat

Upon arrival on to this beautiful spot, we were met by Sue who followed us down to our pitch and made us feel very welcome. We stayed on pitch 4, a large hard standing area with plenty of space for awning and even in the late August evening could put our table and chairs in front of our Motorhome to catch the last few hours of the sun, and still have relative privacy from the pitches either side. You have three small dustbins on your pitch for the various re cycling elements which is a nice touch. There are two toilets and two showers located in a small hut close to the pitches. They were exceptionally clean and the water was hot and good pressure. There are a couple of lily ponds surrounded by a mown dog walking area and immediately out of the site, you can walk for miles down the country lanes. It is only a fifteen minute walk into Newborough. It was so peaceful at night and being adult only was the break we were looking forward to. Only hearing the birds in the morning! Eric and Sue were always happy to chat and they have built a beautiful home and developed a real gem of a CL. The Anglesey Transport and Agriculture Museum is literally next door to the site and has a great cafe serving breakfasts, sandwiches and delicious cakes. All in all, Brambles is a real credit to its owners and affords you a serene and peaceful place to just unwind and enjoy the countryside.
