The previous reviews have made my life a lot easier as they've virtually said all that needs to be said about this 5* C.L. All I would add is that the pre-visit preparation was excellent, from emails from Eric to PDF instructions for how to arrive, local information and what was expected on site. All laid out in a professional manner. The free wifi is as Eric states "Steam Powered" but providing you don't expect too much is fine. Just a word of caution about the entrance. The gate is wide enough but take the entrance route to the CL section carefully as the path edges have either logs or large stones and could catch you out if you cut any corners. We found it fine. The single track entrance road only lasts for 100 yards until you reach Brambles. There are free car parks for those that want to access Newborough Forest and beach, two at Malltreath Sands, about 1 mile from site turning westwards in Newborough and one at Pen-Lon, roughly the same distance but eastwards. Extremely quiet site. All in all a perfect place to spend some time in a caravan. Pitches are large by the way.
