Lovely Site

First I must warm you that our directions and our Sat nav both stated destination on the left when it is actually on the right, so we drove past the entrance which was a nightmare reversing on a narrow country road due to not enough room to turn around. When we got to site no-one greets You, just a notice board staying which pitch we was on. Also Don,t expect to see the owners apart from when you ring the bell to pay. We saw Clive the owner cutting the grass and I waved and he didn't even acknowledge us. Also it does not state that you have to pay £1 for shower, so we just used our own. It is a well kept site but would have been nice for owners to introduce themselves to visitors. Would I go again, no but not because the site isn't Lovely, because it is but because the country road outside the site has no path to walk on so we did not feel safe walking our dog on it.

Could be a nice site

Visited in September 2015. Owners left a board telling people which pitch they were allocated. To ring the bell if they needed anything. The pitch was very muddy (as were all of them) There is a notice saying breathable groundsheets only, (obviously not enforced) In fact one of the owners ( a lady) did not know what a breathable groundsheet was, I had to describe it to her even though the site description says owned by club members. We bought our van forward a couple of feet to avoid the mud and also the overhanging trees, as other caravanners said that small branches and twigs were falling from the trees as it was very windy. A few days later the owner complained to us for not being further back on the pitch. It is a very good location only a mile from Cromer and the facilities were spotless. spoiled by invisible owners (we saw them twice in 2 weeks) and one of those was to pay, and also the muddy pitches.

Lovely site

Highly recommended!  Peaceful and welcoming, what more could you ask for?  The toilet and shower are a welcome extra.  To the person who wanted paper towels in the toilet... They aren't even required to provide such luxury on a CL!  If you're that bothered about a towel, use your own.

Oh what a peaceful stay we had!

We have just returned from Bramble park after fortnight stay. It has to be one of the most relaxing and peaceful sites we have ever stayed on. Only a small site but plenty of room for each unit, the shower is welcome bonus, not the Ritz but clean and well maintained. We would not hesitate to return if visiting Cromer again.

Peaceful and pretty

We recently spent a week on this site (25 July - 02 August) the site lovely and quiet for the most of the time. There are sheep and cattle in the field alongside the site. The boundary fencing needs to be maintained better as we had visits from some of the sheep and cattle. The little block is very clean and tidy. The downside for us was that the pitch we were on didn't have any grass on it where the awning was put up due to use. Also the cattle came through the fence by that pitch and we found that thye liked the bush at the sde of our carvan. They didn't cause any damage to the awning or caravan but would have been unsettling if we had been in it at the time. We also had a visit each morning from a friendly pheasant

A True Gem

We visited here recently for the first time and were not disappointed. The access was very easy and the welcome board was very helpful. The site is very well maintained and attractive. The only downside was having to lift the waste container onto a very odd stone "pot" to empty it, which was very difficult. I also felt some paper towels in the loo would have been a welcome addition, much more hygienic than the towel provided. We would certainly return as it was so close to Cromer and Felbrigg.

Useful information hut

This CL has all you need.  The information hut was very helpful and the site was well maintained. The downside was having to lift the water into the waste disposal.  It was not easy and would be impossible for anyone with a bd back. Good walking in this area.  You can see our walks on our blog www.twodogsandanawning.co.uk

Beautiful quiet site

Site extremely well cared for and very peaceful (apart from overhead helicopters at times) Welcome board with names and pitch numbers made arrival very easy. Only downside is the waste disposal point where you have to lift the wastemaster over a foot to tip waste down. Lovely site with friendly pair of pheasants who came on site regularly. Tourist information leaflets a great addition. Would recommend if you want a site that is quiet and with easy access to local attractions. Definitely visit again if in area.

Lovely Spot

Our first visit to this site. Beautifully laid out and cared for by Barbara and Clive. Quiet, private and with very pretty surroundings. Handy for Cromer, coastal walks and Felbrigg Hall (NT). Can't fault it. Will certainly consider returning.
