I was a little sceptical after reading some of the negative reviews on here. On arrival, a very friendly estate worker checked me in, I asked him about fresh water and waste and he told me exactly where it was and also pointed me in the direction of where the camping area was and told me to park where I wanted. We were only stopping for one night and there was only one other motorhome stopping who turned up much later. There was a long track with spaced out trees on one side and we were able to park in between these. The views across a field and mountains in the distance were stunning. I have no idea why the occasional walker or fishermen driving by would cause anyone a problem, it wasn’t a problem for us and we found it all very peaceful and relaxing. We had our bikes and went for a fabulous ride around the tracks and found a huge lake where there were a few fishermen in waders. It was a beautiful stopover and to experience staying there for £10 for one night was worth every penny to me and I would not hesitate to return or recommend it.
