What a lovely little site this is! Sadly we were only there for one night but owner Andy couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The pitches are large and immaculately kept. Pitches have water, grey waste and EHU. Tea lights are lit on the end of each pitch at night! The Falkirk Wheel is walkable from the site. It’s mostly flat and about 1.5 miles and took us 30 minutes each way; about half is on a B road which doesn’t have a footpath, but traffic wasn’t too heavy. The Kelpies are a short drive away. If you’re lucky you might see deer in the paddock at the end of the site which can be used as a dog walk. The only reason I have given a couple of 4’s is the traffic noise which did seem pretty non-stop but other than that it’s a lovely little site and the owner is a love chap who has gone out of his way to make it a little bit special.
