A lovely site, so quite the sky at night is unbelievable, the only drawback we missed the Northern lights! The site owner is a lovely lady, will return soon.

Lovely peaceful site

We stayed three nights in July 2022 while visiting the nearby activity centre at Loch Ken. Pitches are ample in size, power and water nearby. Good 4G signal. The loo block has two loos one of which has a shower. The owner is a lovely lady who showed us the site and was always happy to chat. The visitor room has a guestbook and lots of books to loan. Nice views from the site and quiet roads to walk. There are ducks and chickens and surrounding fields have pretty sheep. The site is easy to find and access is good.

Beautiful start to our holiday

This is a gem of a site, run by a lovely lady, Mary. The site is very hidden, out of the way down a long lane. When you arrive it is just lovely, the surrounding views are beautiful and the site itself is charming, a lovely secluded field with a pond surrounded by an arboretum planted by the owners. The facilities are very good and Mary is very welcoming and kind. It was the first stop for us in Scotland on our holiday and we loved it. Would visit again without doubt.

A little gem

What a lovely site & warm welcome from the owner. Quiet & peaceful with lovely views. Arboretum full of daffodils when we visited. Slight drawback, satnav GPS co-ords in handbook 1 mile out. Would definitely visit again.

Why we always use CLs

Mary runs a beautifully quiet and tranquil site. It is well laid out to grass with a pond that has Indian Runner ducks and Moorhens amongst other species of bird life. Access to the site is easy enough if you follow the directions given in the club directory. Once unhooked we did try another two ways to get off site, both easy enough solo. We will return here when next in this neck of the woods. Thanks again Mary for a very enjoyable stay. Laurence & Hazel Mitchell.

Beautiful site

Mary was really lovely nothing was too much trouble. The site was very pretty with a pond that had ducks and baby Morhens. Mary had told us that there was a Barn Owl with her babies in the barn. We were lucky enough to watch her flying in an out of the barn several times.

Oh What a wonderfull CL

Myself and my wife have been Caravaners for over 30 years and campers before that and in that time we have visited hundreds of sites both large and small, and this Gem of a CL has got to rate in the top 10 if not the top 5. We arrived in the first week of March after a 300 mile journey to an extremely warm welcome from Mary the site owner. she showed us around and showed us were the facilities were, and were the best place would be for us to pitch as the ground was quite soggy in places. then off she went and left us to it, popping back once or twice to make sure that we were ok. and left again with the strict instructions that if we needed anything to just knock on the door. We found Mary to be really helpful but never intrusive. We stayed a total of 6 days even though we had originally booked for 4. as the surrounding area had so much to explore, we had a mixture of weather from sunny days to rain, wind and even snow and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, and we will be visiting again in the near future Thank you Mary Peter and Christine Fox

A slice of heaven

We took our first club holiday here and what a surprise it was stunning!!!! Very peaceful and relaxing a real credit to Mary the owner ,the trees were really beautiful and neatly planted around the edge of the lake where the ducks wandered backwards and forwards , the dogs found it very amusing ...would definitely go back hopefully in the spring when all the daffodils are in full bloom who could ask for more :)
