Tucked away CL
We stayed here to 2 nights to visit both the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel.
Access is easy but also easy to miss and the approach road is not tarmacked so slow down.
The water and waste facilities are rustic but usable.
On the southern side of the firth is Grangemouth refinery which emits a background hum 24/7. If not for this it would be very quiet indeed.
The nearby village of Culross should not be missed. No spoilers - go see it
Visiting the Kelpies: The first car park is free, the nearer one costs £4 for the day.
At Falkirk Wheel: Amazing piece of engineering. Parking is £3.50 / day.
