A retired couple, we visited Birch Hill, in our caravan, for a week, July 2024. Having received the very useful information pack, prior to arrival, we were aware of the facilities on the site and attractions in the local area. Ian, the owner, greeted us on arrival and showed us the availability pitches, which are large and each with its own fresh water tap, grey water being drained into the hedge, in other words a fully serviced pitch. As described in the information pack, the local butcher and deli in Ellesmere are well worth a visit especially for the ‘burger bombs’ and the local pork pies topped with cheese, delicious! We cannot recommend this CL more highly, it is a credit to the owners and well worth visiting.
