Well we have been at the cl for 7 nights and are leaving in the morning for Somerset.
All I can say is WOW what a place to stay. We got a nice friendly welcome when we arrived from the owners and only tonight had a visit from the owner to wish us a safe journey back home.
This site is kept to a very high standard with all the grass cutting collected when cut so is very neat and tidy.
The site itself has 4grass pitches and 1hard standing which are all on the level.
The entrance in to the site is a little tight but isn't a problem if you are careful but we do have quite a long outfit.
The toilet is not a modern one but does what it's meant for and we didn't find it bad like the last reviewer .
We have stayed on many many CLs and must say this is one of the better ones in a fantastic quiet location and should not be dismissed with the other reviews.
We will be back .
Don't advertise that you have a toilet if you don't clean it.
Stayed there in May, no welcome just took the money. We went there as they advertised the toilet and what a filthy one it was, Spiders cobwebs and leaves everywhere. The washbasin had the filthiest tablet of soap and hadn't been cleaned in months. Bird droppings all over. The toilet had been cleaned by a fellow club member in order to make it useable, many thanks to him. There was also a very old book of bus times which I wonder if they thought we would use as paper. It was stiff with dirt. I am used to outside toilets and so am not over critical, it had t0 be seen to be believed.

Not at all reliable, and a poor experience.
Turned up after confirming a space earlier only to be told that there was now no space for us other than the concrete where we had to pay extra to stay, and we could only stay for one night anyway. Husband took our booking and hadn't informed his wife so clearly no communication between them which left us driving around and ringing around from 7pm (when we turned up there) until 9pm when we eventually found a lovely place and a very friendly welcome. Totally different from Benn Park where the welcome was lacking and hospitality was non -existant even though I had rang and confirmed a possible 2 day stay only half hr before we arrived. Our whole evening was ruined (until we found the new pitch) and by the time we got settled, we were desperately in need of a coffee and our tea (even though we never ate until 10pm! Ben Park is nice if you can be guaranteed a pitch when its promised, however the arrival was not exactly welcoming. We had an apology off the husband however comment was that as we were not staying, that got the husband out of a pickle and he seemed happy with that.
