Caravaner from Oxfordshire

This is a beautiful site. Easy access to many parts of S Devon. Very well laid out, with lots of wonderful animals etc. The owners are very friendly and helpful, cant wait to return next time.

One of the best CL's we have ever been to

We have been caravaners for over 20 years and had a bad experience at another CL near Dartmouth a few years ago - Looked at this site, although I have never paid £13 ever for a CL site when we turned up all of us said "Wow" - this site is the best maintained and thought out CL we have ever been to and although expensive, you can see why - its worth the money !!!!! - The owners are caravaners and have obviously put a lot of thought in to the site - the views are amazing, the animals are great for the kids and they have even provided a small play area with swings - there are 2 decent picinic tables and the grass is always cut and whenever someone leaves the mower comes out - chemical point is brilliant - very big site and you don't feel hemed in - I cant praise this site enough - we will defiantly be back , many thanks for a great time

Refreshing change

Arrived at this site after getting double booked at a nearby site and told there was no pitch for me, on arrival the owner and her husband greeted us with a warm smile, we explained our situation, and they were more than happy to help us, after sorting a great spacious pitch, we decided to take a look around the site, a superb view of the countryside is on offer, as well swings for the children, ostriches , chickens and alpacos, easy access in and out of the site, fantastic location for nearby beeches, and the market town of kingsbridge, the pituresque town of salcombe is only a 15 minute drive away, overall a very spacious site offering generous amounts of space, great location, lovely owners, would definatley go again.

Great location

We had a wedding to attend in Thurlestone so booked the nearest certified site. What a surprise when we arrived! Lovely large field with the grass better than most lawns, slightly sloping and with easy access. The owner was so welcoming and we could even choose our pitch. Ideal with children as plenty of space to play and added attraction of adjacent alpacas, emus and ostriches. Handy for beaches and just 2 miles from Kingsbridge. Best CL site we have visited!

Great for families, lovely CL

Very clean and tidy CL, with good facilities. Very welcoming and you get to meet the animals, ostrich, emus, llamas... Views towards Dartmoor; swings etc. for the children. Slight road noise but not distracting. Really enjoyed our visit and will stay again when we can.

Another great CL !

Very friendly, relaxed, welcoming and beautiful site, visted earlier in the year and have just booked again. Animals, eggs and views, what more could you want, great for kids with a huge grassy area to play in plus swings and picnic benches. Cannot wait to get back there next week, another great CL !

Ostrich, Emu's and Llamas!

We stayed on this very tidy site earlier in the year. LocalPlacesOfInterest: On A379 - 500m before Churchstow; good access, good pub 'The Church House' (beware of busy main road walk - 10 minutes). Bus stop 5 minutes either direction. Some road noise. Great views. Site: OAY; nice and tidy, lots of animals, nice views, some road noise; eggs available; one hardstanding now - excellent; EHU and waste disposal.. Overall nice tidy and well kept site. Yes , we will go back.
