Very peaceful despite gale force winds and rain!

We have just returned from a lovely 4 nights at Bedingham Hall. The weather was very windy and we also had a day of rain which meant we didn't do the walk we had planned but we still had a great time. The King's Head at Woodton is highly recommended and the bus to Norwich stops just by the pub. Norwich market has just won "Best UK Market" and we bought enough food for 2 evening meals, we also went to the cinema in Norwich. The site is superb. Louise the owner looked after us very well and the facilities as advertised are just fine. It's worth noting there are 2 ways on and off the site. When you get to the site sign by Bedingham Hall you can turn left onto a gravel driveway and then right on to the site. This entrance / exit is a bit tight for larger units, we only just managed with our 7.5m long caravan. Larger units might want to carry on up the lane where there is a double gate to the left onto the site. The two halves of the site are connected by a little bridge. We are very keen to visit again, hopefully the weather won't be so wild!

Brilliant week

Just returned from a terrific week on this CL, really good walks in the countryside, very helpful owners. Nice pub one mile down the road we had a Barby and live band on Saturday afternoon, took the dogs swimming in the sea at Pakefield Sunday, long walks and just chilled out. Great, we will be back.

Perfectly peaceful PS

and if you're looking for a proper "local" with a friendly welcome and good value pub food go to the Kings Head in Woodton - just a very short drive or a walk into the next village - a lovely pub where you're made to feel like one of the regulars - and there's a great and very well stocked shop opposite too

Perfectly peaceful

Gorgeous CL - easy to find and get to - pretty setting with pond and trees yet plenty of spacious, mainly level pitches - good dog walking directly from the site - the only "noise" was the beautiful birdsong - saw plenty of muntjac deer during our stay, some within yards of our caravan. We will certainly return to Bedingham Hall Farm - and the sun shone too which was a complete bonus. Thanks Louise - we will be back.

A Peaceful Gem

This was our first visit to the site, which was easy to find and access even though it is well away from the main roads.. We were met by the very attentive and helpful owner, Louise, whose gave us all the information we needed to begin a wonderful quite and peaceful 6 night stay. This is a working farm, but the daily life on the farm was unobtrusive and was of no concern during our stay. We really enjoyed the quite relaxed atmosphere on the site and especially the wildlife - barn owls, muntjac deer and a wide variety of other birdlife was to be seen during our stay. It is a good location for Norwich and the Broads, as well as north Suffolk and the Suffolk coastal towns. For us it is less than an hour from home, so it is ideal for a short trip for just a few days and we will certainly be returning again and again. Without doubt this is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable CLs we have visited in many years caravanning.

Spacious and peaceful

Away from main roads , easy access up a private road to farm. Plenty of room and lovely views across open meadows . Trees for shade around the pond creates a lovely place to stay . Just had our 1st visit and will be happy to return . Great local shop .7 mile away opposite the pub. nice quiet lanes to cycle through. Lady gave us a warm welcome and lent us an extra el lead to utilise the ample space. Top marks all round ..

A real gem of a site!

This was our first visit and certainly won't be our last. Plenty of space which assured our privacy and great welcome from the owner who gave us useful information.  The site is generally level, with hook-ups close to each other so if you choose a pitch away from these, you will need an extension. Drinking water available from one if two stand pipes and a very tidy disposal point.  There is a great village shop which sells great local bacon, sausages and home baked cakes. The local pub is on the opposite side of the road, and both are within 15 minutes walking distance. The pub serves great pub grub at a reasonable price.  The site is a fabulous base to explore South Norfolk, Suffolk and the coast. Norwich is a short drive away, we recommend the park & ride.  There is plenty to do, but equally, on a glorious summer"s day, you can find shade and tranquility on the site, with a glass of wine, nothing better.

Charming, tranquil CL

Having stayed at this lovely CL more than three times we can highly recommend it. The family that run it are welcoming, helpful and friendly. It is a lovely secluded rural site with lots of wildlife around. Last time we saw a barn owl and hedgehog. There is a great pub in walking distance that serves good food and has very friendly locals. There is also a local village shop near the pub that appears to sell everything. Its a good central point to visit lots of local places, Norwich, Bungay, Beccles the coast to mention a few. We will definitely be going back.
