We've not stayed in this part of Devon before but probably will again - Crediton itself is a gem. The site itself is wonderful with huge spaces between the pitches and mature trees surrounding the two fields. The pitches all have hook-up and their own water taps and there are excellent toilet/shower/laundry facilities. It is important to heed the advice about access routes as some sat-navs will suggest totally inappropriate roads up from the A30. The correct access does still involve a final mile of single track road but we encountered two separate vehicles coming the other way when we were departing and in both instances, they were quickly able to pull off into places for us to get past, so it was no problem. There is a near by railway line but the trains don't seem to make much noise and don't seem to run at all at night. Oveall, the site seems very quiet and peaceful. We definitely recommend the site and will use it again next time we stay in this part of the country.
