Friendly, welcoming ,delightful

Just returned from a 5 night stay. Cannot speak highly enough. Beautiful, clean, tidy, welcoming site. Both Karen and her mum are so helpful. Pitches really well spaced out and grass kept short and collected. Easy to get around with or without using car. Can't wait to return.

Two night stop

We only stayed here for two nights on route to Cornwall. However it was quite an experience finding the place as we followed the suggestion of the owner and not the caravan club book. At the vital turning we found road closed signs in place, this meant a seven point turn in a farm gate way which was fun!! Eventually we reverted to the handbook and got in easily although it was very narrow ( not a good time to try it when farmers are making silage) once there we were given a warm welcome and the site was immaculate and extremely spacious. A lot of thought and effort has been made into constructing this site plus there are good holiday lets in converted farm buildings with in the property. The site is alongside the rail way line but this was not a problem, you are more likely to be woken by the birds dawn chorus than anything else. From the site you can walk into Crediton and the route along the river was easy, we visited the Farmers market (pricey) all in all happy to visit this site again and for longer next time.

Comment from the CL owner:

Thank you for their review. We have listened to your feedback and have put out 3 CAMC signs on one of the routes in to the CL to help people find their way here.

Site suited our requirements to be near River for Fly fishing, Karen couldn't have been more helpful with Pitch allocation to suit our dog. Absolutely perfect, we will be back

First Trip Since Lockdown!

Have just enjoyed nine nights on this site and had a much needed relaxing holiday. The couple who have taken over running the site are friendly and helpful. The facilities are modern and clean and the setting is lovely. Each power point has a water tap attached. We particularly liked the amount of space we had as it meant our nervous rescue dog could be more relaxed. There's also great dog walking places close to the site. The early train that runs close by during the week sometimes woke us up but other times we slept through it. We were unable to get a phone signal but I understand it depends on which provider you are with. Nice laid back atmosphere on site which we appreciated.
