Lovely quiet site, very flat and level, most of the other caravaners are regulars, we went to Beamish twice, Durham City the lane is tight & blind spot when you exit onto the road, 3 points, their where peacocks & when it got dark they called to each other on the hour every hour for the first three nights, you had to walk up the hill to the owners house for the bins, it would have being good if their had being some bins in the camping field the hose next to the elsen point had NO hose clip, so when you turned the tap on it blew the pipe off, as the owner is elderly (I was told he is 90) I didn't think it would do any good saying anything
