Outstanding CL

Unfortunately we could only stay one night as we were on a mercy mission and needed to be close to a dog rescue for morning collection and immediate return home. This is one of the best CLs we’ve visited in the last 35 years and we plan to return for a holiday in the future. Steph and Nick have done a fantastic job and thought of everything as only someone who travels in a caravan or camper/Moho would do - definitely worth 5*

Peaceful relaxing site

Spent 5 days here in mid November. We didn’t have the best weather but the welcome and the scenery made up for it. The site was spotless. The amenities included shower, toilets, washing up area, grey and waste water disposal areas. Each pitch had electric and a water supply. The site is just a short walk into the village. There is also a bus stop close by which will take you to other towns/villages if you don’t feel like driving. The bus driver will stop right outside Barons Court if you ask on your return journey. We had a wonderful few days, and the hosts were excellent. Highly recommend the eggs laid by their chickens too. Will definitely return.

Wonderful hosts

From the moment we arrived it was very evident that Nick and Steph are very proud of their CL and care very deeply about how everyone enjoys themselves. The quality of the facilities was outstanding, the shower and toilet block exceptionally clean and warm. The site is very peaceful and has beautiful views all around. Steph and Nick were always around if we had needed anything and for a general chat. They made a special point of coming to say goodbye when we left which we thought was a lovely gesture. All round highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay

This is a lovely well maintained and accessible site run by a really friendly and welcoming couple who are happy to chat and provide local information. The animals are both entertaining and relaxing with an added advantage of fresh eggs on site. Well done Nick and Steph on providing such a great CL site. Look forward to returning - hopefully with better weather next time!

The Best Site on our Fortnight's Holiday in Wales

This was a lovely site. How we wish that we had spent longer than our three nights here, because the surrounding countryside is a rich area for walking and exploration, with easy access to the Beacons as well. Steph and Nick were friendly and accessible hosts, who helped us out with advice and practical assistance. The site is beautifully clean and tidy, and its limited number of standings makes for peace and privacy. The facilities were spotless and comfortable, and we particularly appreciated the wide range of maps, guides and information material. Llangadog is a pleasant little town and within easy walking distance. The Red Lion was a good spot for an enjoyable dinner.

Super CL

This is a super CL. Very welcoming with excellent pitches, nothing is too much trouble. The site is exceptionally clean and tidy with an excellent shower and toilet block. The site is very easy to find with easy access and close to main routes. A shame we only had two nights but would definitely go again. Highly recommended.

A delightful CL

Nick and Steff are a great couple who give such excellent service. The site is beautifully laid out with hard or grass standings, water and electricity at each pitch and a superb shower, toilet and information block. There is an interesting range of pet animals on site which Nick will let you help feed and a field for exercising the dog. Really can’t fault it. Lots of well organised recycling too which is something not often found on club sites we find.

Wonderful Hosts

Fully endorse all the good things previous reviews have said about Barons Court and owners Steph and Nick. We enjoyed our visit to Aberglasney Gardens, but take care when out and about on minor roads. Our Sat Nav took us to some places we would rather not be if we came upon another vehicle and had to back up to pass. The butcher in Llangadog is very good and sells home made Steak and Kidney, Mince & Onion, & Chicken pies made with proper suet pastry. Not to be missed!
