Outstanding

Our first ccl and a lot to live up to for future ones. David and Lorna excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble. Lovely info hut with freezer stocked full of home cooked meals and desserts and fridge with goodies as well including eggs from their hens. Did not need a shop nearby as most things available on the site. Our dog enjoyed his walks every morning and evening on the lane next to the site. The showers and toilets were spotless. It was nice that any payment you needed to make for shower or food purchases was via honesty boxes. Will be returning probably next year as they are very full for the rest if this year.

One of the best

Everything you could want from any site, let alone a lovely little CL like this. Warm welcome, lovely heated shower/toilet block kept spotless. Info hut with a fridge full of basics, bread, milk etc. even choccies and biscuits. Quiet location, just a few interesting aircraft flying by to nearby MoD airfield, nothing noisy though. Pity no pub or shop within walking distance, but that's no problem

Definitely One of the Best

As others have said what a super CL. It has everything a club site has & more....2 toilets and 1 shower to 5 vans, enough room on the site to pitch in whatever direction you want, without the rules of which side you have to park your car, water points between every 2 vans, an information room with a large library and freezers containing milk, bread, prepacked meals & home baked cakes, and to top it all free WiFi. The site is quiet and has a virtually traffic free lane along it's side for those who need a dog walk. There are plenty of places to visit close by, eg Walsingham, Holkam Estate etc. and Fakenham is only 5 mls away for Morrisons & Lidl for your suppies. Thanks Alison & David for an excellently run CL and will return, if we can get a booking!!!

Great time again

Another great 4 nights at Barleywood.  David as welcome as ever.  Great facilities, large pitches, all grass but very free draining.  Visited Walsingham snowdrop walk, beautiful.  Long walk along Wells beach and visited RSPB Titchwell.  Went back to the Dukes Head at West Rudham for excellent Thai food.

Winter Break

Welcomed by Dave to his lovely site.  This is our second stay here.  Excellent facilities, shower being renewed today and spacious pitches.  Free wifi a definite bonus.  Despite the awful weather the ground is free draining so no problems on entry or egress.  Plenty to do/visit. Had a great Thai meal at the Dukes Head, West Rudham.

Barleywood cant be beaten, can it?

Wow what an impressive site, welcomed at the site by the host, written instructions to assist with local facilities and general info regarding the site. The washroom facilities are spotless and you can tell there is every effort gone into making your stay perfect. The surroundings are a joy to wake to but even at night at this time of the year tasteful decorations compliment the attractive main living area and wooded area close by. Located near to the main attractions, Sandringham, Cromer and the Thursford collection so is ideally suited for each or all. Due to the site location there is very little if any disturbance and so a very relaxing and peaceful stay is a guarantee, each of the pitches has access to mains and water if required a well thought out and exceptionally well presented site all round, very hard to find fault great stay thanks Barleywood team, hope a revisit if in the area again.

Happy days.

What an absolute delight this Cl is. Well spaced pitches, and a toilet block that equals any Caravan Club site. Good field views and stunning sunsets. Much has already be already said about this CL so I shall not repeat others words. Enjoyed it so much we bought a house nearby so we may be regular visitors. Thank you Dave & Lorna for all your hard work in making this a 'First Class CL'

A jewel in the crown

From the moment you arrive and are welcomed by Lorna and David, staying on this superb CL is an absolute joy. On this lovely spacious site they have thought of everything that you could possible need to make your stay perfect, from the the spotlessly clean shower & wc block (including washing machine and tumble dryer), the Information Room with the fridge and freezers full of useful goodies to buy, the thoughtfully provided outdoor seating and picnic tables, their entertaining flock of hens providing delicious eggs and so on. This is the kind of site you will go back to again and again.

Top rate C.L

Our second stay at Barleywood, ( back in September 2012, a little late putting pen to paper.) The pitches are well spaced out and the surroundings are delightful. The toilets and showers are of a very good standard and kept very clean. There is a well stocked information centre and home cooked meals for purchase. A good example of what can be achieved with planning and care, a great C.L well worth a visit.
