Stayed at this CL on the way to heading North. Not too far out of our way for this purpose. Nice and close to main centres if you are wanting to spend time in Glasgow. Found this an excellent wee CL with hardstanding. Lovely old gentleman ran the site when we stayed. Toliet basic but clean, located at farmyard, There is a garden shed with tourist board info for the area. Would recommend parking your caravan first, then heading to house. We went to the house first but then the entry was angled the wrong way to get in easily. Luckily my hubby is a farmer and just reversed into the site with ease! Only downside I had was that you had to open a gate to get into the site and as the cows were outside and walking up and down the lane, this meant walking through cow dung to open the gate. Would recommend wellies available for this not the good shoes I had on! My suggestion would be a cattle grid instead of a gate. Still, definitely wouldn't stop me from visiting again!
