This is a wonderful CL peaceful, quiet, in beautiful surroundings and convenient for the borders. The site was virtually perfect for us and our two dogs who loved the woodland walk and the access to the river whilst we adored the peace and quiet and would have stayed longer if we had been able to. If there is a drawback it is the entrance from the road which is narrow and requires great care especially with a long outfit. Contrary to another review the approach roads are certainly not single track from the A68 at least but it is not clearly signposted and signs for another site are confusing. Other than that a wonderful place that we shall visit again.
