We received such a warm welcome from the Lucases and thoroughly enjoyed our stay last month on this beautiful site....very peaceful.
We would highly recommend
Lovely peaceful corner of Cornwall
We have just spent a lovely week in this quiet corner of Cornwall, well away from the overcrowded beaches further west. It is a very peaceful spot with views of rolling fields and there are some lovely lesser known places to visit from here. The Rame peninsular has lovely views, Cawsand and Kingsand , and Dartmoor is only a short drive. The site itself is extremely well looked after and Mr and Mrs Lucas are very welcoming. Everything was made very easy and access is good.
Easy night away!
Lovely CL with hardstanding, views, walks on site and friendly owners! At about 12 miles from home this was an easy CL to get to, the lane is wide and not a typical Cornish Lane! We’ll definitely be back when we have more time! Thank you for the delicious apples.

Just a brilliant site great views
Had a wonderful 7 night stay here in mid May, visited Eden Project plus 5 NT properties, all within easy reach of great site location. Everything was as good as all previous reviews stated, Colin and Sue very welcoming and lovely hosts, they have created a lovely place to relax in, especially with the hard work they've done establishing their wildlife pond area which they encourage you to walk around.

Lovely and peaceful.
A stunning little site with great countryside views.
Colin, the owner is very friendly, extremely helpful and well organised.
On arrival Colin greeted us and showed us to our pre-booked pitch and provided us with a very thorough and useful folder of everything we should know about the local area.
We particually picked this site as it is the closest to Cotehele House which we had come up to visit, it's only 3.5 miles away.
Loved our 2 night stsy and will certainly go back.
Highly recommend.
A gem
This is a little gem...We loved this CL and were only booked for 5 nights but stayed for 7 in the end, as we loved it so much. The views from the caravan were amazing looking down across the fields and into the distance. There is a beautiful walk from the site down to some lakes which belong to the owners. We were amazed! Beautiful azaleas, bright coloured rhodedrons and spring flowers, with little pathways and trickling streams. Stunning! The site is handy to visit Looe Polperro Mevagissy and The Eden Project. Colin and Sue presented us with a large folder of places to visit on our arrival so we were never stuck for places to go. We will definitely use this CL again the next time we visit Cornwall.
Thank you Colin and Sue for a most enjoyable stay.

Lovely quiet spot
We were only able to stay one night but the landlady was lovely and accommodating but not overbearing. Hope we can go back again and stay a bit longer to explore the area :)
Travel monkys
We stayed here for 11 day's. We have never been to this area before. First off we were greeted by the owner who is lovely and gave us a pack of information leaflets for us to read. Our favorite places to visit was Plymouth marina...we parked just by the aquarium centre and walked in from there...was pretty easy from this car park.
Also Looe is a must visit.
We spent a day on site and down by the 3 lakes (part of this site) so beautiful, peaceful and you can tell this has been really thought out and looked after! Take the fish some bread. Lots of dragon flies down there too! A cheap site to stay which is part of out budget to get sites £10 and under. This worked out at £10 per night.
Lots of blackberry's to pick and 2 donkeys up the road to pet 😀 #travelmonkeys
Excellent CL
Just as a CL should be; peaceful, quiet, relaxing, great views, easy access, clean & tidy and well maintained, friendly and efficient owners and good value for money.
We really enjoyed our two weeks on this CL which is ideally situated for access to Dartmoor, Plymouth, west Cornwall etc. A walk through Lydford Gorge (not for the feint of heart) is highly recommended if you are able as are visits to both Cothele and Buckland abbey NT properties. The Coop in Callington is a good local supermarket and there are larger ones in Tavistock (Tesco & Morrisons) and Liskeard (Tesco and Lidl). There is also a lovely Waitrose store on the route to Plymouth.
The ponds on site are lovely and well worth the stroll down through the field.
Thank you Colin and Sue - we shall be back!

A little gem
We enjoyed 6 nights on this lovely cl. It was our first time, but won't be the last! Clean, tidy we'll run site with wonderful views. We were welcomed with a wallet full of interesting information/leaflets and 2 recently laid eggs - how lovely! We look forward to coming back in the spring when all the flowers will be out around the ponds and woodland!
