A Little Gem !

What a super site! Beautifully kept grass pitches in a large field with a wild flower hay meadow next to it. A warm welcome after efficient booking from Mike and Ruth Well maintained very clean shower and two toilets. Thoughtful local information and maps available. All this in a delightful Golden Valley with access to Hereford, Hay-on -Wye and stunning walking in the Black Mountains and locally. A most enjoyable week...and one to be repeated....or maybe in their little rental cottage.

Lovely views, peaceful site

We stayed here for a week towards the end of July. We had a wonderful time. The area is lush and the site very good with Plenty to see and do. There is a good pub with delicious food in Dorstone. Mike very friendly and personable, fair rate. Would definitely come again.

Completely peaceful

We stayed for a lovely week of peace and tranquility, almost unbelievably, we had the field to ourselves for most of the time. Beautifully kept grass, PYO blackberries, and great countryside around. Good information available, clean toilets and shower if you need it. All that a CL should be.

Peaceful Place

We booked into this site for two nights and stayed for eight! For a CL it is spacious with excellent immaculately kept facilities (shower & loo). We enjoyed the quiet of the location and distant views of the hills. For those looking for a peaceful secluded site, you could not do better.

lovely place to stay

We received a very warm welcome from the owner to this gem of a cl. Very well kept with a very large choice of where to site the caravan. Facilities excellent and very clean. A shower is available for £1 for which you get 10 minutes. There is also a small freezer available for the use of guests at no additional charge. Would not hesitate to recommend this cl to anybody! Would certainly use this cl again if in the area.

Peaceful and Welcoming

Well managed, peaceful location, lots of space, excellent facilities - a lovely site to end our ten week touring holiday. Good location for seeing the Forest of Dean, Brecon Beacons, and even Cardiff is only an hour and a half away. Highly recommended.

Visit to Hay on Wye

We spent 2 peaceful nights here and enjoyed walking to Arthur's Stone and eating in the pub in Dorstone. The bus to Hay on Wye stops on request at the site. Definitely a spacious and relaxing site.

Top Notch Site

This is a wonderful site. Really big so you have plenty of space and don't feel crammed in. The pitch was level - nicely kept site. We received a great welcome and found the convenience of having a shower room and toilet very handy. The chickens roaming around were marvellous fun. There are plenty of information leaflets in the shower block area. We ate locally at a pub in Dunstone and it was great. Atmosphere and food alike. This is a great location for walkers and lovers of literature alike. Plenty of towns to visit nearby. This is a very quiet and peaceful site and has beautiful views. Well recommended,
