Can only endorse what everyone else says about this site - what a lovely surprise to find such an oasis of calm and beauty so close to the noise and bustle of North East London. Stayed here last week in June and were delighted in every way with our experience - it was like a miniature country estate especially with all the peacocks and other wildlife. We were absolutely delighted with the surroundings. Would just say it's quite a long walk to Newbury Park Tube - much more than 20 minutes, so the few times we went into London we took the car as close as possible to the tube station and parked on the street (otherwise £5 to park in the tube car park). You will have to search for an on-street parking space - seems to be a lot more spaces in the second half of the day. Great restaurant next door - so handy!! Didn't know what to expect with this CL but can only say will without doubt be back soon!!
