IKEA toughened glass 'crockery'

Ikea has been selling this range of table ware for a while now Valda, started with the dinner plates first but have now introduced the bowls and teaplates but have only seen them in plain white

Do you know what the name of the range is - had a look online but can't see it - maybe in stores only?

I think the plain white is OFTAST  but there are a couple of other patterned ones which I can't see on line. The bowls and side plates, and the patterned range are recent additions, because I overheard someone else asking about them.

Each piece is just 50p!!!!

Saw some,  last time we went to Ikea,  good stuff, shame I have swopped to Correlle already.

I have some of this and very impressed! I dropped a box containing some of the bowls (along with glasses) out of the boot of the car and while everything else broke, the OFTAST bowls were perfectly fine! Makes you wonder ow Correlle can justify such high prices...

Many thanks ValDa - was going out to get some Corelle to replace 2 year old melamine this afternoon but having seen your post yesterday nipped off to Ikea at Coventry last night and bought a set of Oftast - you have saved us quite a bit and we are very pleased with it !

Great news!  It's a shame IKEA don't do mugs or cups and saucers in the same material!
