Give us some clues. How many miles do you like to drive in one go? What route will you take?

Depends on your route really and if you want to stop just the once or more. Can recommend a good CL in the Worcester area if you're on the M5 route or one near Solihull if you're doing M1/M69 or if you want to get a bit further down, there's Minnows near Tiverton just off the M5 or even Exeter Racecourse if that's not too far.

Just need you to give us a bit more detail. smile

We used to stop off at the commercial site called Minnows neat Tiverton.  It's just off the motorway and there's nice walks along the canal towpath.  If you have bikes you can cycle next to the canal to Tiverton,  if not ther's a good bus service from the village.

It's a journey we have done up to half a dozen times a year some years. If you are happy to provide more info, such as with children, dogs, if you are doing all motorway, and area of Yorkshire you are departing from, might have some different ideas for you?smile

We use M1/M69 M, detest the M42. Only time we used it was to blast home from Tewkesbury on night my Dad was taken ill. Solo I might add, not towing.

Agree - we usually take the M69 option, but did use M42 once to get to a particularly good CL! smile
