I've just read a review of Underhill Farm CL, just off the M5 near Taunton and if you could make it that far it might suit. But leaving, even at 5 on a Sunday morning is going to bring you to the M4/M5 interchange at a very busy time mid morning so you'll need to be patient! smile

Really? It’s our favourite day for heading off or returning. Even the Brum section is better on a Sunday in our experience. Far fewer HGVs around.

Not now the schools are breaking up, we avoid the Taunton to Bristol M5 at weekends through the next few weeks. I think the OP will just about do it with an early start, good luck!

Agree with that about HGV's but it always seems awful to us heading South. Mind you, a few years since we have done it now, M1 near us is awful on Sundays due to traffic coming out of Meadowhell shopping centre. Lots of day trippers in hats tootling around as well!laughing
