Hi.

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere but I would be grateful if someone could recommend a trustworthy dealer in the Lancashire / Gtr Manchester areas please.

Thanks.

I've heard good reports about Prestons caravan and Marquis caravans, although never used them myself. I used Glossop caravans for accessories, but never bought a van from them.

Stay away from Campbells, that's from personnel experiance.

good look with your search.

I had very good service from Kenmore caravans as a buyer

I have used north west caravans for my service and they have a good reputation.

This is`nt quite as spiteful a comment as might first appear but forget the word "trustworthy" and be on your guard.

Glossop will sell to you then forget who you areUndecided

Same advice here. Glossop employes good salesmen, shame their aftersales is not good.

I'll second that Buzz. Wink  Been going there for many years.

I would also agree about not going near Campbell's; again from personal experience.

Prestons was Campbells second site till a family fall-out.

Don't know if things have changed from their former days.

As has be already said, don't 'trust' any of them!

In my experience it does not matter who the dealer is, buy the caravan you want from any dealer and deal with aftersales issues when needed. Dont forget the law is on your side and the dealer will have to put any wrongs right.
