Hi everyone, new to this and just bought an 04 Autotrail Apache 600SE which has a 2 bike cycle rack on the back with no make on it. Can anyone help if they think this will take 2 e-cycles with a weight of approx. 38 kilos together? any advice would be helpful, thanks

Hi & a happy new year to all

I am looking for a tow ball mounted 2 bicycle carrier up to 60Kg total

carrying weight that would suit my old Devon Auto  Sleeper.  Would be very grateful for any recommendations.

Thank you Christie

We use a Thule tow ball mounted carrier, (although not on our Autosleeper, as it came with a Fiamma rack on the back.)

Can highly recommend Thule  tow bar carrier. We use it for two bikes, sometimes two ebikes, sometimes one ebike, one conventional bike. Removing batteries does of course help greatly in terms of weight. I would find your local Thule outlet and have a chat with them. Ours folds up reasonably compactly to ride or store inside vehicle as well. Different sizes and weight carrying capacity, so make enquiries. Think how high you might need to lift bikes to get them on as well, always a consideration.

60k is a lot of weight, so get some advice👍
