Sorry I cannot give anything like a proper answer from personal Knowledge BUT

We used to have a Member regularly posting on here by the 'Name ' of MALCOLM who did that. He had a " Fixed Address " where , I think, his cousin lived and, if I remember correctly, he used to live.

Malcolm pitched on Club sites as a " Seasonal " and had to move every 21 days or so. He had  a form of employment as a delivery driver for ' Domino ' or similar fast food to the door companies so It must be doable for you !!

Hi Uffa , its a lovely idea ,met a lovely couple a few years ago ,who had done the same , had a lovely few years touring europe and uk . then M /H started costing loads of money , Ill health caused return to uk . No finances to buy anywhere to live . The point is if you can afford to do it fine , but we all get older and it catches up with us .Not trying to put you off , just a thought

Welcome UFAA, I cannot help you either and I suspect not many here can as we are mostly "part timers" Your best source of information regarding full timing is to post on one of the forums dedicated to motorhomes where there is almost certainly a section dedicated to full timing. Try checking out MotorhomeFun or MotorhomeFacts.It is almost certain this question has been asked before.

i actually know how to do it, but being past the State Retirement Age I didn't feel I had the time the way this forum is running at the moment

Derekcyril - my circustances are such that I will have a property at some point in the future through inheritance but for now I wish to put the money I have into a motorhome and live touring the country as opposed to wasting it paying someone else a substantial amount of rent for the next few years and sitting here vegetating in a house I hate, if you get my drift. I can't afford both. A motorhome will allow me to enjoy life and travel around and see parts of this country that I can't afford to go to whilst paying rent and utilities. This option is far more appealing to me after what I have unfortunately had to endure for the last couple of years and while it is completely legal to do so in the UK, the insurance companies seem to make it an imposibility, which is extremely annoying and frustrating.

BeleroBoy - don't quite understand your reply but would appreciate any info you have. How can I obtain this?

I think BB is just saying that the speed this site runs at would take him the rest of his life and more to pass on the info he could impart. Well that's my interpretation any way 

Well done and I’m full of admiration.  There are available offices whose address you can use and who will forward mail to you. Don’t know about costs as I’ve never had the courage.  Some things you need to think about are, medical, you generally need to be registered with a gp for health insurance to work. Also if you need to use a hospital.  Also you will lose your credit rating.  Best to persuade a friend to let you use their address.
