We've only gone and done it. After several years of looking (3 NEC shows), researching, thinking and talking about it we pickup our caravan on the 15th. Steep learning curve ahead which starts the weekend after with our first (very local) trip.

Collected, played with, loaded, weighed, re-loaded, weighed again, check weighed and had a weekend away.

Fixed the only snag we could find. No heating in bedroom or washroom turns out the blow air pipe was 1. Disconnected at blower, 2. Disconnected at bedroom outlet and 3. Disconnected at inline join that fed washroom outlet. All could have come off whilst towing I guess, I'll check them again after coming weekends long tow (220 miles).

Why didn't we do this sooner, probably the most relaxing weekend away we've ever had. My favourite bit was sitting in the warm and dry listening to the wind and rain, my tenting days are well and truly over.

Glad you had a good time Simmo.   Sorry you had a problem with the heating hope you get it sorted soon - mind you, with a bit of luck, the weather will turn very warm and you won't need it !!  laughing

We always used to take a small fan heater with us for emergencies.  I've taken this out of the van recently, but must consider if it's worth putting it back in!!

welcome to the club, glad you've had a nice and relaxing weekend away in your new TINTENT :-)

I've been pulling a tintent now 13 years after getting soaked in a tent at the forest of dean, never ever again I love it.

Simmo2300 so glad you had a good and relaxing time.  It's the unwritten rule that on your first trip there has to be a snag - well done for fixing yours smile
