Where have the Mods gone ?, on the old CT you only had to post something out of context and out they came surprised, now we have the new CT ,you just don't see e'm, perhaps we are behaving our self's betterinnocent

At 2245hrs on a Friday evening, I would think either tucked up in bed or maybe with a glass of something.  I know its difficult to understand but CT isn't the centre of the universe and our voluntary mods do have other lives.

Your question HD but I think if I was to pose a question like this it would be where are the staff champions and why bother with them as apart from 1 or 2 I've never seen anything from them since the introduction

I think that's the point some of us have been making. If we don't see them being active, we don't know they're watching.

Yebbut, the only evidence that Mods aren't active is if a contravening post remains uncensored.

Perhaps there should be evidence when they're watching a thread by an automatic post appearing with say, a green tick, or in marginal circumstances an emoticon of an admonishing wagging finger?

The purpose of having a group of volunteer moderators, backed up by staff moderators during normal working hours is the have a wide group of people available to attend to issues on the forum. Not all moderators, either volunteer or staff, can be available all the time as we all have lives and jobs outside of Club Together. I think it unacceptable that individuals commitment to their roles should be questioned on an open forum. If anyone has issues of this nature they should be addressed directly to the Community Manager not via the open forum. In the light of this I will close this discussion and refer it to the CM for her consideration.
