FOR ROWENA:

Hi Rowena, can you please ask the CC web team if they have considered moving CT out of the CC domain and setting up a separate CT domain, to improve access and use?     This would remove many layers of linking which is making this site so tardy.    They are clearly not having any success in finding a solution to the current speed/access problem.

Just looked at a well known hotel group with over 300,000 followers, all good if you've got the time and the inclination...wink

There's no time required for the followers though brue      All you do is click to follow and that's probably all the engagement that many have with a FB page. I follow a few businesses for offer codes but I never visit the page or read any posts.

Seems to be working very quickly this morning. Perhaps they did something over the weekend.😀

It's slow. Slow compared with other websites, let alone forums. On the plus side, at some point in history, it will be famous. As a classic example of how not to set up a website for a multi million pound business!smile

I don't see it as a big problem, the main site is adequate in speed and admittedly the forum side of it is a tad slow. But I don't live life in the fast lane anymore and it's good to blink the eyes occasionally whilst in front of the screen cool Everything gets there eventually, just accept it as being in a traffic queue, a supermarket queue and lay back while enjoying the slower pace of life smile

Everyone these days want 'instant', and are aggrieved when its not, relax.

Still no sight of Rowena!

Have you contacted her directly rather than hoping for a chance sighting of this thread, KB?

You can always use the report button as a means of highlighting the issue to Rowena. I doubt she has time to read every thread or post on here so will rely on people bringing issues to her attention.
