PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

Web site very very slow this morning, but then it took 12 minutes for someone at HO to answer the phone when I called instead. Seems the communications sector of the Club needs a bit of an overhaul.

Posted a photo on the wildlife section on 2 Sept 18 and I see it’s disappeared.  Has censorship been applied against my grasshopper or is it the dreaded glitchsurprised

It seems to be there now? Sometimes when the forum is slow (when isn't it?) the photos seem to take an age to load. He is a very handsome looking fellow!

I find it impossible to upload pictures which is really annoying.I am a member of Motorhome Fun and their site is excellent and so easy to use ,you can upload 10 pictures at a time Very simply. So come on C& MC with your monetary resources get this forum up to speed and look after your members.

Don’t forget that the ‘monetary resources’ are actually our money, B&J.

I found photo uploading difficult for a long time despite the instructions given elsewhere on this site. Then I got the knack of using the photo resizing app and it became much easier.

Given the speed that CC often runs at, or not, ☹️One might think the difficulty is intentional, to avoid further clutter.

Although I don't have any problem using the resize app, it almost certainly means many photos uploaded are larger than they need to be. They allow photos of up to 500K, when 2 / 300K would be adequate.

An automatic built in resizer would not seem that much to ask and although it would mean more photos being uploaded, it would control the size, so overall data stored might not increase. It is difficult to see why it wasn't included in the website update.

When the new website was being proposed we were told that uploading photos would be easy. The club have obviously ordered the Betamax version!

Currently enjoying the club sits at Buxton, which users will know as Wifi Cemetry Central. However the club allow me to access their website which is very good of them, except that I can't access the UK Sites area to either find availibilty or further site details. You really couldn't make it up. CMC club denying a member the opportunity of booking one of their sites. Who is running their website? undecided
