PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

I've been trying to track down a post I made, don't even know if it went through. Usually I can find things under my  profile but I am getting server error on the profile. Anyone else finding similar?

I seem to have lost the post I was looking for and latest activity under my profile is down to three posts. I noticed the main "latest activity" area has been shorter recently and goes round in a loop.

Hmm, well you couldn't say this site doesn't have it's challenges. wink

Does this thread have any real effect ?.  Does Grimstead Towers read it and deal with the many snagging items listed?, or is it just a means of posters letting off steam when they discover the obvious, that this website is just not up to the job ?.

wink

I thought I was going bonkers, responding to a thread last night that wasn't there or even here today. However I've now found it in parts and accessories, about fridges, but I get "server error", so mystery solved except to ask why this has happened?

Is it just me or do others get server error too on this particular thread?

I started this thread eighteen months ago after the initial few weeks demonstrated the failings that were apparent.

Progress on rectification has been, to say the least, disappointing and I despair at the situation ever being satisfactorily dealt with. The commitment from senior management just isn't there.

I get the impression that the Club have found it almost impossible or too costly to overcome the difficulties caused by this version of Club Together. Otherwise all the snags would have been sorted out months ago. The software must be on it's last legs and the only way to improve things would be to go down a different route to providing members with a useable forum.

It's a mystery to me why things go wrong on here. For example the vanishing thread I mentioned is now partially visible....how or why? Every week we get glitches. The system must be on overload. A pity as it's not a good advert for the club.

Certainly were deafened by the silent responses.

Staff trip over themselves to reply on fb on the odd ocassion I have a gander.

There's so much great info and help on here and fb is one big muddle. Ho hum đŸ˜ĸ.

Customer focus generally on the website is extremely poor. Nothing works intuitively and ofen doesn't work at all. Searches are poor and worse! If you catch the site on a good day it might give a good impression,  but I wonder whether folks are put off before they start and just use commercial sites. I know we have 😉
