PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

Just tried to amend a booking for this coming weekend.... After going through all the stages, and pressing the finish button, I keep getting a note to say "YOUR AMENDMENT HAS NOT BEEN CARRIED OUT" or words to that effect. Gave up after four attempts, yellyellyellyell

Will amend when on site on Saturday....... Useless or what???

Seems to be very slow today. I put a photo on, it didn't appear to work. I gave up and nearly started again, five minutes later my post appeared.

It seems that new discussions appear more than once. Three seems the winner this afternoon. I thought that this was fixed by not being able to press the 'send' button more than once?? Maybe it's another issue or repeat of the original 😲

I think they have solved the problem of double posts within a discussion but clearly not when someone is posting a new discussion. I expect its the same problem of people not thinking their post has actually been sent because of the slowness of the forum. People really need to hold back from pressing the send button a second or third time.

It's not for posters to hold back and make allowances for a rubbishy system, David, which your comment rather implies. It's CAMC who 'really need' to get their act together.

13 December to 1 May and it's still far from right. It's an utter disgrace! Thank goodness it's only a fairly pointless old vanning website and not something important.

I don't disagree with some of your points. See my post of page 3 of this thread which is in a similar vein to your own comments here. Perhaps I could have been a bit more subtle in the way that I expressed my concerns but I was specifically replying to Bakers2 post on this subject giving an explanation as to why it was happening and what might prevent it. Like yourself I am in no position to correct any of the issues on this forum although I am pretty sure that Rowena is fully aware of my views. I share your frustration as I seem to be spending a lot of time, along with other mods, trying to sort out the problems as best we can with the limited tools we have without causing even more problems in our attempts to put things right.

Let's face it, David, the whole thing is a load of garbage and CAMC should be ashamed to launch it on the public. It does nothing at all to enhance the image of the club. An expression about a party in a brewery springs to mind.

It's no wonder we all get frustrated and let off steam at times.
