With the bombardment of the fake passport positings today should the CC limit access to post in the forum to members only so they can at least control who is positing and what they post?  Can still leave it open to read if they want?

I'm not a moderator on any forum K, in fact most folks would find the fact you think I am hilarious! I think you sometimes get your groups, usual suspects, and allocation of roles a bit wrong, but I forgive you!WinkHappy

TDA, I liken some posters to the tabloids. . . .They never let the truth get in the way of a good storyLaughing

Well my dog's head is a tad square, but not the same colour as a caravan! He is a member though, and he does contribute to another forum. Got his own Twitter account as well, lots of Japanese followers!Laughing

TTDA Apologies, I had been misinformed,Embarassed However a bit of cyber job promotion, even for a few minutes can't do anybody any harm.

When TW received his promotion to moderator within that other forum there was also another member promoted, Obviously now we know that it wasn't your good self.

The main reason for my post was to ask you to clarify for the rest of us your statement to another poster, HD  -- Quote  "probably more to do with being well trained, not biting the hand that feeds?

Cool

Oh I much prefer more local papers OP, Yorkshire Post. We always buy local papers if away, good for events and local things!

Back to forum membership, I am in the read but not post camp for none members. You can make a decision then on whether or not it is for you, and join or not on that basis. Not sure which way CT will go if the new website comes on line. Would be better to keep Club membership (bookings, payments, other aspects of membership) separate from CT.

I'm a Club member, have been for over 25 years, but it doesn't say so on my profile photo.

Moderator Edit:

Perhaps it might be a suggestion that you make contact with the club to have your status amended below your avatar.

Thanks, will do, will try to anyway!

I now have the "member" banner!

Many thanks to Rochelle for sorting it out for me.

But will I now have to behave myself?
