Hi all,

I've started a new discussion for the server errors as the previous one went off topic at times.

We apologise that you have been experiencing these. Please can you report these in this discussion and I will monitor to forward to the IT team.

Many thanks.

.... Agree. It’s not Rowena’s issue to solve. You don’t shoot the messenger.

Rowena is the 'Community Manager' .... who else do 'we shoot' then? Should she not be managing?

Ro is the messenger, not the IT Manager. It’s an IT issue I think. If Ro is passing on the messages (no reason to doubt it) and those that can do something to the technology are not listening, then no doubt Ro will be as frustrated as Members.

I presume they have even stopped putting up the essential maintenance screen.

Maybe it suffered a screen error Steve.undecidedsmile

More server errors one this morning and again one that went on for nearly an hour and then it took several minutes ,before it actually let me log in just now

When I tried to get on first thing this morning, nothing was working on several attempts, just a blank screen showing it was trying to load something. I presume they have even stopped putting up the essential maintenance screen.

Similar. Logged in just now, typed a post, pressed reply, greyed out. Then nothing. Copied text - I've learnt the hard way! Refreshed the page not logged in..... logged in again pasted text pressed reply and was stunned by the speed it went and appeared! Reckon the breeze got behind it 😉

Edit Refreshing the page appears no action for what seems like an age! It's like trying to cycle against the gusts today!

I had 5 attempts to log in this morning. I think the situation is getting worse if that is possible. Yet still no acknowledgment of the ongoing problem or what is being done to resolve it. If this is how the club cares for it's members we are in a sad state.

I actually think the situation has improved - slightly, today.  I noticed that the site was down for maintenance, yet again this morning and since then, log in has been almost immediate and clicking on Discussions has opened the page quicker than before (but still slow).

That has not been so in this area with server errors and very slow connections

Nice photo, but it took me ages before to get onto the site again.
