The whole site was down with essential maintenance for almost 24 hours......

Will it be fixed now?

Edit no server error on latest activity page.

Nelliethehooker, next post here, I totally agree.

Again no mention of Essential Maintenance coming up,  although notice of it occurring had been promised. For a break of full-length of time those in charge of IT at HO must have known well in advance when and for how long they intend to shut down the site. I feel sorry for those members who use part of their weekend to research and book sites. It is not as though they could use the club's app as it was down too.

I wonder if we will get some sort of explanation as to why the website needed to be closed for so long? Was this planned and if so why were we not informed or did something go wrong which required a long shut down to put right? We may never know. I assume the shutdown also impacted on the site network?

I tried to access the site in various ways. Knowing how CT is often plagued with issues.

I don't expect we, by we I mean the members, will ever know. The club are not renowned for their keeping members informed......

I don't have a problem with social areas, you don't have to read them but they should not dominate the front pages of a forum. There are folk who do nothing else but post there and have contributed nothing else. It would lbe better if alerts of new post on these pages were removed from the Club Together front page. As far as I am concerned it clutters up the latest activity pages of the site.
