Does anyone know if Picasa is any different?

I know it is being taken over by Google and that does not inspire me with confidence.Undecided

I find Google very intrusive, Nevers. Try searching for Picasa privacy and see what comes up.

We use Picasa and it has several levels of privacy, and editing rights. These range from Public through 'anyone who has a link' to private. Picasa is no longer available and has been superceded by 'Google Photos'. We are still using Picasa although we can also view the same photos in Google Photos. While we can paste photos on to CT from Picasa, the same procedure doesn't seem to work for GP. Here's an example from Picasa - it's part of an Album which we've set to 'Public'.
