Page Errors

I seem not to be able to access several of the main discussion areas today and keep getting "The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred" message displayed. Is it just me?

When I need to edit a post I often get the same message, however I find that if I refresh a couple of time it suddenly springs up and allows me to continue with the edit. I don't know if this would work with ordinary posts or other actions. I do wonder if the problem is caused through a slow response from the Club's servers which seems to be an ongoing issue?

I was having problems over the weekend but then it got better.  Like you David, I had problems when I needed to move a thread to a different section, but when I went on the second time it seemed to work.  Perhaps I approached it from a different place.

They're back. I've just posted this on the Facebook page. Anyone want to place bets on the level of response?

"The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred." It is abundantly clear that the CAMC IT function is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. We must be reaching the point where, given the "buck stops here" principle, the resignation/dismissal of Nick Lomas is called for.

Hi Cyberyacht, What part of the forum were you on when you got the message? We are still getting page errors in Introductions (which is still being investigated) but the rest of the forum should now be working. Please let me know so I can forward to be investigated ASAP and I apologise that you are still having issues with the page errors.

It was, indeed, "Introductions" I still stand by my observation that senior management need to take responsibility for the ongoing shortcomings of the IT function of the Club.

"introductions" till not working. sack the IT chaps and get the school kids in, they'll sort it out for you.
