I seem not to be able to access several of the main discussion areas today and keep getting "The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred" message displayed. Is it just me?

I reported this problem first thing this morning via FB. Couldn't follow it up though because I had to go out. I noticed the problems only occurred when logged on. e.g. could read UK sites forum when not logged on but errors received when logged on trying to read and respond to the same thread..

It appears to be ok now?

That's interesting, PeeDee because it was the same for me.  I read a post whilst not logged on, logged on to reply to it, and then couldn't access it.

It's working now, though.

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for keeping us informed of the issues you are all experiencing. I have an update from the team working to fix the issue, please see below:

We have identified the issue is with one of the indexing appliances.

These appliances are load balanced so one user may be directed to the working appliance while another user may be directed to the faulty appliance.

Similarly, a user may have a session that is at one point being directed through the working appliance and then as they continue to browse through the website, their session may then be directed through the faulty one – resulting in an internal server error or page cannot be displayed error.

While we continue to troubleshoot the faulty appliance, we are directing traffic through the working one.

I will keep you updated and thanks everyone for your patience.

Irrespective of our views on the operation of the forum, it's always welcome to get some feedback and explanation on a particular problem smile

Perhaps if every poster was a paying member the club could afford to upgrade to a zx81

Hi everyone, The issue with the faulty indexing appliance has now been addressed and the majority of discussions should now be available.

We believe there is still an issue with the Introductions section of Welcome & Hobby Talk  and this may be affected over the weekend in order to maintain the main functionality of Club Together. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
