Marked as read

We seem to have lost the "Mark As Read" buttons. Am I the only one who doesn't want to trawl through every thread just to see if I have read the latest post? Individual post don't show as read even when I have read them either?

CY

Your post is flagged as new, both above and in the listing. However that is not what TF means I don't think. Another one to go on the listwink

What's happened to the 'jump to last post' ? The photo sizing seems to have been sorted though, looking at DK's latest story.

Yes we need the "mark as read" back at the top of each topic page. I have also noticed when you have read the new posts on a thread and then refresh the screen the "new" indicator for that thread does not disappear like it used to.

I also have a suspect the number of new post shown is not correct.

Are you using continuous stationary?

The other side of the problem is that if you didn't read a new post and had to log off, when you came back it was still shown as unread. Now when you log off everything is automatically marked as read.

I do hope not. It will be impossible to pick up where you left off otherwise. Are they total buffoons in the IT department?

Following on, I've just visited the next thread which said "2 new". Upon checking, I find they are posts that I have already read. This site is a total shambles.

That's a bit strong CY.  I'm sure they are doing their best to carry out the instructions and ideas of the CC chairman.  ----

Just checked this and you are right. I think the answer to CY's question is probably "yes".
