Well I made the effort - like - and found the following – like,

 What are Club Stars?

As part of Club Together, you will be able to build up Club stars every time you use the site. The more you post the more stars you will get. - like.

Is this really all there is to it? – like – as this has entirely changed my opinion – like – “that the whole thing seems to be surrounded by a very childish ethos” – like – to one that "the whole thing is based on a very infantile ethos” – like !!!!!

It's been said many times on this forum over the years that the "Likes" should be done away with completely.  If somebody likes or dislikes a post they should be honest and say so, and why, in a following post. 

As far as the points system is concerned, it does nothing constructive and is a legacy of four years ago.--- It no longer needs to continue.

Write your comments here...If you did away with the likes that only get one point, there's nothing to stop posters from actually making a like in a comment which will get them five points!

I initially liked the idea of liking your post re - you not liking the idea of liking the post due to his dislike of liked posts however as I am now uncertain if you like or dislike liking posts I will refrain from formally liking it with a like but I can assure you that I do actually like it.

Nah, check the questions for the really interesting stuff like how many points are needed for each star. Malcolm can recite it by heart.

When I post and I don't get any "Likes" I often wonder if it's because my posts are not "Liked" or is it because "I'm not liked"

So ! is there - like - a whole set of criteria listed somewhere that governs the allocation of points and stars - like ?

Jcb, I'd post a screen shot of it if this site would make it easy for me. Click on your stars, scroll down to the questions and click on "How do I get my next star?". You'll see a technicolour chart and below that are more questions leading to further info - like.
