A Suggestion

Because of all the problems that the new web site is having could those at HO close down the CT section, and other's that have relatively few visits or do not bring in any finance, and concentrate on sorting out the booking systems on club sites & CLs, which are the core business of the Club?  There are relatively few members who use CT on anything like a regular basis, 200 maybe, possibly 400, where as many thousands use use both the club sites and CLs

Sorry Nellie, but that is just too sensible. The club would have to admit it's made a monumental error in the first place but we live in hope.

I suspect it doesn't work like that. So many parts of the website are interconnected it might even have the opposite effect. The IT Department will no doubt have a plan which they are working to and to change that might be counter productive. Some of you, no doubt will suggest it couldn't be any worse going by some of the comments but we don't know that. Perhaps we should ask Rochelle to request from the IT Department a bit of background on how they are tackling things and in what order and perhaps why they have to be in that order?

Nellie, that sounds like common sense to me so, unfortunately, it's not likely to happen.

Rochelle could concentrate on her non-forum tasks so would be fine, AD.

Indeed I agree that problems with Cls should take priority. It would be lovely to know what IT is working on

Personally I don't think the new site is too bad now I am used to it, just find it very slow.

Booking's seem to work OK for club sites and all my CL searches are OK.  Think they just need to sort out the niggles people have raised and remember its only been about 6 weeks since the new site was opened and we had Christmas in that period so hopefully by the end of February they can give it an update.

Unfortunately although the website might be usable the review situation for CLs is still not correct.
