Is it me, or has anyone else lost threads and stories they were following on here??

Seems odd that I can access threads that I can contributed to earlier in the week - about sites opening 4 July and about Nunnykirk, but I get server errors as soon as I attempt to load the last page, been like that for 2 days now. It looks to have some difficulty with some link to g,adspeed or similar. It's getting very frustrating!frown

Morning

It's just taken me an hour to post this! Can't open any other threads. I'll email Justin after breakfast

Hi JK (and others)

Although many of the performance issues have now been resolved across the site, we know there are still issues with CT.

Someone earlier made a comment suggesting we should use our cash reserves to sort it out.... it's not a question of money; we've got 4 internal teams looking at it, we've had our server hosting company looking at it (the web db server now has 4x the amount of power it had in it on Monday), we've also had our external web support partners (who deal with most of the code) looking at it and it's even been escalated to the company that produce the CMS that the platform sits on.

Investigations are continuing and obviously we are keen to have the site working smoothly at a time when the current levels of traffic are much higher than normal and when the Club is preparing for the reopening of UK Sites. But please understand this website generates thousands and thousands of log file entries every hour because of how busy it is, and it just takes time to sift through these and pick out a potential "smoking gun".

Two further config changes are being tested in our non-prod environment at the moment with a view to implementing these around midday. No website outage will be required for this changes.

Regards

Justin

Cheers Justin👍 there are some that appreciate the 'needle in a haystack' problem, and understanding that Server error 500 is a very general error that's saying something has gone wrong with no pointers as to where.

You pay to use CT Husky? I get it for free. Is it in the T&C of membership that it has to be there?

Booking perhaps, but CT?

But maybe you have a point so lets all pay to use CT if people want to, an extra on top of membership, that money could be then used to ensure it equals other forums?

btw you could resign your membership and still use CT?

So ,tell me me how is CT paid for ?, does it run itself ?

I know you and your mates love the club ,but some of us use it as a means to get a product , no more no less

Can’t even get to final page to view all posts, so have finally made up my mind I will not be renewing membership what with NL being tight fisted and not offering extending membership to those who want it.

Well at least this post is now live again. I've got past the page that has been coming up service error each time. Wonder how long  this will keep going now?

I have noticed that I've to press the reply button twice to get any of my messages to post.
