Hi all,

has anyone got/able to post any pictures they may have of their old caravans.

As I said in my introduction post we have had a long break from caravan ownership. over 25 years,  and would love to see some pictures of your caravans from that era. I intend to dig all our old photo's out from our loft over the next 2 weeks and if I find any of our previous caravans I'll scan and try and post them.

Our first one was a very old and heavy Eccles ( Moonstone  i think) with bay front window. We then had a 5 berth Lunar Clubman that had very deep front and rear windows so you could see through it in the mirror when towing.

Thanks and look forward seeing what you had back then.

Ian.

I've got some but posting them on here is a no-no so my avatar will have to suffice. It's a 1949 Bluebird Rambler which we owned in the early 1970s.

Tricky, I don't think that your old avatar will show. When you update you picture all your posts will show the new one.

Edit... I've gone back to Dec 2015 and my avatar for a post then is the same as the one showing here, and I've definitely changed it since Dec 2015.

Must have a look at what we have. Probably have some of my parents Bailey Maru and their Mustang Colt and our Piper and Trophy Medallion. They would be a trip down memory lane if I can work out how to do it

Got in to our loft today and dug out some old photos of our previous caravans. Anyone remember these models The one hitched to our Hillman was an Eccles Moonstone If I remember correctly and the other was a 5 berth Lunar Clubman.

p.s. still can't workout how to post bigger pictures. These were scanned and uploaded to PB but I can only seem to darg and post the thumbnails?
