I have had to work in masks and really don't like it and even the authorities encouraging us to wear them admit their use is of little or no protection to the the wearer.  Even saw folks driving their cars in them this morning , now thats paranoid

I will wear them when ordered too.

I view it like this AD-I think it can’t make me more likely to catch the virus🤷🏻‍♂️,  any nose & mouth covering will give me & others protection to a degree. As I breath out wearing the mask I feel my warm breath on my nose that suggests the mask material is not letting all my exhaled breath out so it is going to keep moisture out for sure👍🏻

We haven’t worn masks yet, at least not until today. OH had to have a scan at hospital, and it was compulsory to wear a mask throughout the visit. I had a text from our GP surgery last week, stating that a mask must be worn for all visits. So we are getting prepared. I bought a pack of 10 disposables, and later today ordered some washable biker type masks, which will be useful when in traffic out on our bikes.

I don’t see it as being something we will need to do with any frequency, as we don’t use public transport, have no intention of going shopping, and are perfectly happy when outdoors in not very busy areas. However, I am putting together a little “what if” emergency pack, of two masks, bottle of sanitiser, filters, PPE gloves into each vehicle. Just in case we break down anywhere.

Mask a must for Mum. A whole lot easier than reminding her every 5 minutes about the virus, don’t touch your face, etc... dementia can be such fun and games.....

Masks are going to be the next must have accessory. Colour co-ordinated, themed, designer related. Trump had the best one yet, a special just for Mr President!😂 Fun and games to be had going through customs at some point👍

We haven't worn masks yet, but they're at the ready - I have to go to our local surgery for a blood test next week and they've sent a very long text explaining exactly what's involved. Other than that we shan't be in any crowded places as far as I can see so we'll keep them handy but not use them unless instructed to.

We will have to differ. I think its a waste of time but being a law abiding type I will wear one if I have to.

I like that plan👍🏻😊

Same as us M. OHs hospital experience excellent, mask on, turn up, straight in, scan and done. Took 10 minutes. Not allowed to have anyone else with you unless a carer.

OH had to wear a face mask for an appointment at our local surgery, with the rules on public transport etc. it got me thinking about the what if's

what happens in case of a breakdown if out in a vehicle and need recovery or there is an emergency where a train or bus is needed for onward travel, would you be refused the onward transport I wonder.

So we have now put a little pack of washable facemask hand sanitiser and disposable gloves together, small enough to fit in a handbag or pocket so we shouldn't be put in an awkward position should the unexpected happen.

We have masks and gloves in both vehicles just in case and usually have them about my person as well. You never know what might happen.

I hate wearing a mask but have been forced to in medical situations. I found it provided a certain amount of reassurance to find all those around me similarly adorned. I feel sorry for the medical staff having to endure wearing the PPE all the time.
