My dog does not do tricks as well,  but when someone new parks up at the side of us and we have that electric bollard, when they are plugging in she stands by them has this silly bark until they say hello to her.

Most owners are taken aback when their dog, which has just tried to jump up my leg, gets a clip around the nose.

I assume I'll get sued one day!

Original post a bit insulting really. I love my dogs but am perfectly aware that they are not everyone's cup of tea and keep them tethered because of this. On the other hand, why is EVERYONE expected to like a child? I for one, would rather have a dog crawling round my feet in a cafe or restaurant than someone else's offspring wiping its nose on my trousers While the parents look on and sigh and giggle at the beautiful site of their child exploring.

Write your comments here...If the owner is allowing the dog to jump up anybody's leg it's not the dog which needs a clip around the nose --- it's the irresponsible owner.

This is a polite request. This is a thread about dogs and not children so to make any sort of comparison is totally un acceptable.Children are people so lets not drag them into this thread.Thankyou.

peter.
