We're on a CL with ponds, ducks and moorhens. This will be a challenge for the camera tonight. The camera is strapped to the trunk of a willow tree near the waters edge. I'll let you know in the morning if it catches anything........

ADD46,Hi,I tried that when at "Willow Cottage"with my 'Outback Cam',it does give VERY good resolution ,even over a long distance .Although i finished up using a traditional camera set up in the end ,to get more close up's.

Triky, we are at Willow Cottage.

You'll be pleased to know that the camera took 33 pictures.......of ONE duck in the dark! 😕 Very photogenic duck.

The only up side to the lack of camera trap activity is we sat watching a kingfisher for over an hour this morning catching his/her breakfast. 😊

OH has got our new trail camera working, unfortunately we  can't be away anywhere just now but will see what's in the garden. We know we have badgers, foxes and deer around but I'm guessing the cat will feature too. wink

Brue, it'll be interesting to hear what you find.

We're now back home. We placed the camera in a different position for the last night and caught a moorhen and lots of rabbits. (Or was it one rabbit that kept dancing in front of the camera.🤔)

Our next mission is to find out which neighbourhood Tom cat is spraying its territory up our garage door and front door.😡

OH set up the camera by our pond last night. Mr fox caught close up on camera, no idea he was around that area which is close to our home. Seen at 9.30 pm, also our cat before he came in for the night. smile

What kind of cameras do you have?  Is it wired in, or 'wireless'? We're interested in one but haven't really done any research on the subject........ just a vague feeling of 'How lovely would it be to have a night-vision camera'..................!!!
