We're on a CL with ponds, ducks and moorhens. This will be a challenge for the camera tonight. The camera is strapped to the trunk of a willow tree near the waters edge. I'll let you know in the morning if it catches anything........

I'm following this thread with interest, because I couldn't find the camera Brue mentions (not the exact spec, anyway) so appreciate any further discussions about what detailed spec to look out for.

I'm trying to post some pictures to show the difference in day and night images.

That looks like very much the same picture quality as ours AD46. Apparently ours is now back to £60 on eBay. ValDa, I'll see if I can get OH to find it tomorrow morning but I'm sure they're all fairly similar at that level.

Thanks very much Brue.  I'm very interested as we've wanted a camera like this for ages, but never been sure what would actually work, how much it would cost, and what spec to look for!!  Oh's milestone birthday in  May would be a really good opportunity to treat 'ourselves' (ie him!).

It's coming up on ebay as

Floureon HD 1080P LED hunting/trail/digital/PIR camera

price (at the moment) £55.99

Any problems let me know and I'll have another look Valda. smile
